WCFA’s new research journal katte means “raised plinth” in Kannada. Be it an arali kațțe under a tree, or jagali katte outside a home, the katte is a gathering space that invites and accommodates deliberation, ideation and discussions for anyone taking part. WCFA’s new research journal katte is an academic forum that invites interdisciplinary reflections and dialogues within and outside the discipline of architecture. By means of diverse formats and disciplinary lenses, katte seeks to provide a platform for different discourses that highlight the interconnectedness of the world and the architecture discipline’s place and role in it.
