Avinash Ankalge, graduated from Dr. D Y Patil college of architecture, Pune, and went to work with Architect Sanjay Mohe, Mindspace a firm based in Bangalore from 2010-2019.

From 2019 onwards Avinash started his architectural practice based in Pune and Bangalore. Having a keen interest in discovering and documenting unknown architectural heritage in India, and research includes underground water structures, the Ruins of the past and its current relation in present and future architectural scenario.

Avinash uses water color and other drawings as a tool to understand and explore architecture. He has exhibited his drawings in BIC, Bangalore. One can view the works in his Instagram page.
