Shreya Subbegowda
Shreya Subbegowda is an Architect and Environmental Psychologist with expertise in Universal Design, Social Design, and person-environment interaction research. With a year of experience in Universal Design, she has contributed to projects such as wayfinding design for the Gandhibazaar Street Redevelopment in Bengaluru, research at Assistech, IIT Delhi, and was part of the UDita project’s initiative to develop an online course on Universal Design. Her master’s dissertation, “Perceived Social Affordances in Outdoor Rural and Urban Public Spaces in India,” reflects her commitment to creating environments that prioritize human well-being and sustainability. Shreya also conducts independent workshops on applying environmental psychology principles in architecture, driven by her passion for pedagogy.
