Kavana enjoys the straddle between education and practice and looks forward to continuing to engage in both these realms of the profession. As a teacher and an independent practitioner she finds the pace of work both exciting and demanding at the same time. She believes both teaching and practicing as much as they are a work of the intellect, they are also an exercise in catharsis, which is also what she calls her practice. Her work embodies the spirit of the quote “most personal, is most creative.” – As said by filmmaker Martin Scorsese. Aside from attending workshops in the field of architecture she likes to learn new languages and practices Kathak.
