
Julie Ann Tharakan
Julie Ann Tharakan has more than a decade of experience in Architectural Academia. Her area of interest is interdisciplinary studies and she brings insights from humanities to architectural discourse. She structured the framework of ” History, Theory, Sociology and Economics (HTSE)” domain of the institution along with her peers. She has also guided students as part of the Architecture Thesis mentoring program in WCFA and various other institutes.
Apart from her academic commitments Julie curates WCFA Heritage walks which is the outreach program of the college. She collaborates with the student council of the institute to host the activities of the heritage walk cell. She manages the WCFA Bursary, a body of the college that offers financial assistance to students in need.

2010 – Architectural Thesis Shortlisted amongst the 10 best Thesis for NIASA awards for excellence in thesis – Zone 5.
2012 – Gold Medal for M.A in Social Anthropology from Indira Gandhi National Open University On Campus Program.
