Harsha Nayak began his architectural work by joining Ochre, led by Architect Tushar in 2000. In this stint, he worked on various interior and architectural projects. By 2006, Harsha had co-founded Envisage with Naveen Hiremath and Vivek Kumar. The goal of Envisage has been to design humane and sensitive living environments.

This inspiration to bring newer sensibilities into his architectural practice comes from his experience at the MCE, Hassan. According to him, the countryside around the institute also helped him develop an interest in photography, music, and travel.
