Elsa’s academic journey began with her pursuit of bachelor’s and master’s degrees, leading her to embark on her career as an academician in 2019 at the College of Architecture Trivandrum. This journey extended further to School of Architecture, Christ (Deemed to be University), Bangalore from 2020 to June 2023. Her passion for foundational design studios has driven her to create engaging studio programs.

  1. Undergraduate Dissertation titled “Quantifying the form of traditional streets in Kerala” won the Best Paper Award by APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, at the Technical Conference KETCON in 2017
  2. Secured First Position in the Product Design competition at NIT Calicut for Tatva
  3. Postgraduate Thesis: Awarded the Best Thesis Poster at College of Engineering Trivandrum
  4. Postgraduate Thesis : Second Topper for the thesis titled ” An approach for addressing the complexities of urban sprawl by developing a spatial planning support system using agent based models with reference to Thiruvananthapuram district”.
  5. Received the Travel Grant from APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University for the international paper presentation at Luxembourg
  6. Received Research Grant, from Centre for Research, College of Engineering Trivandrum
  7. International Conference: Paper Presentation “Developing a Spatial Planning Support System for Addressing the Complexities of Urban Sprawl in Smaller City Regions” at the International Geographical Union Annual Conference held in University of Luxembourg, August 2019.
  8. Paper Presentation of Post Graduate Dissertation at the ITPI (Institute of Town Planners India) conference in 2019
  9. Secured second position in the Policy Drafting Contest conducted under the UN75 Initiative in collaboration with Confederation of Young Leaders.
