The HTSE Domain at WCFA emerged in response to the attempt to consolidate pedagogical approaches that unite common threads while making room for the diverse methods that teachers of History, Theory & the Humanities might take while teaching students of architecture. The domain comprises the faculty who primarily teach History & Theory of Architecture, Sociology & Building Economics, Urban Planning & other allied subjects that form the basis of our understanding of the built environment and the various trajectories that have shaped human habitats through time. One of the key intentions of the domain is to continually keep evolving methods of teaching and knowledge exchange that keep in mind the contemporary learner while critically examining the lessons that the epochs in human history offer us.
