Eligibility Criteria

Criteria 1 – Qualifying Exam

Admission for the first year of the M.Arch course shall be open to candidates having a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% in case of SC and ST candidates) in the results of the following qualifying examination:

  1. Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) degree from a recognized university/institution approved by the Council of Architecture (COA).
  2. Candidates must have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in B.Arch.
  3. Final-year B.Arch students may apply provisionally, subject to submission of final qualifying marks.
Criteria 2 – Aptitude / Entrance Exam

Admission may also require qualification in relevant aptitude or entrance examinations as prescribed by the institution/university.

  • Valid GATE score in Architecture / related discipline (where applicable).
  • PGETA / university-level entrance examination as per state or institutional norms.
  • Portfolio review and/or personal interview may be required for specific specializations.
  • Candidates should satisfy all admission norms prescribed by the affiliating university.
