Prakash Belawadi started off by telling the students there is no point in him teaching them how to act or set stage, though the students were a little surprised by this they realized how vast the subject is in itself. The workshop simplified theater and cinema by picking out the commonalities with each other and then with architecture. The understanding of TIME, SPACE and EXPERIENCE, all common and essential to theater, cinema and architecture. They were able to see just by the way of walking, or lighting the entire mood of a situation could be manipulated. Students even tried their hand in making a short movie in groups.
